Teacher 许可证 are regulated by state-level agencies.  许可 applicants must meet all requirements and  follow all procedures of the state agency from which licensure is sought.  在俄亥俄州， Ohio Department of 教育 serves as the licensing agency. The Office of Student and Academic Service verifies that applicants meet the requirements noted on the state licensure application forms.

Successful completion of one of the degree programs that leads to licensure and any additional requirements for licensure (Praxis scores, 等.) leads to eligibility for licensure.
