Activities

We have a wide range of activities each month, so there's something for just about everyone.

Adult Playgroup
Breakfast with a congenial group of women (and the occasional guy), leading to shopping expeditions, Broadway shows, museum visits, hikes, bird watching and anything else we can come up with.

Bird Watching
Monthly gatherings for bird watching, visits to bird exhibits and anything else bird-related that the group would like to check out.

Book Clubs
We have both an a.m. and a p.m. book club. Each club meets monthly, at a member's house, to casually discuss a book. The a.m. club meets the third Tuesday of the month, and the p.m. club meets on various evenings.

Bridge
Our bridge group is always looking for new members. If you play or are interested in learning, join us for a morning of coffee, conversation and sometimes a little bridge.

Bunco
Come see what all the rage is about! We meet one evening a month at a member's home and are always looking for new players, whether you're experienced or have never played.

Chick Flick
Join us once a month as we take in a flick at a local theater.

Children's Playgroups
Playgroups are a great way for kids and parents or caregivers to make new friends. We currently have groups for birth years 2002 to 2006. Each group typically meets once a month and rotates among members' homes.

Couples Game Night
Take advantage of this chance for grown-ups to play games and have fun! We meet monthly to play board games such as Taboo, Guesstures, Pictionary, Scene It and Trivial Pursuit. New couples are always welcome, and you may come as frequently or infrequently as you'd like.

Daytime Culinary
Bring a favorite dish and copies of the recipe to these monthly gatherings at a member's home. It's a great way to pick up a few new recipes and meet fellow cooks.

Golf
The golf group generally meets once a month on Thursdays. All abilities are welcome.

Ladies Night Out
Join us once a month for drinks and appetizers at a member's home.

Restaurant Reviewers
Come see what all the rage is about! We meet one evening a month at a member's home and are always looking for new players, whether you're experienced or have never played.

Special Needs Playgroup
Find support, inspiration and ideas from others who understand the joys, heartaches and dilemmas of raising children with special needs.

Tot Tours
We get together several times a month for a wide range of activities -- everything from tours of a dentist's office or post office to trips to local playgrounds or kids' gyms. Participate as often as you'd like.

Walking
Stretch your legs and make new friends by joining us for a weekly walk at Fairfield Hills. Kids and strollers are welcome.

Whine and Dine
Evenings can be a tough time with little ones, so pack up the kids and join us once a month at a kid-friendly local restaurant for whining, dining and hopefully a little adult conversation.
